BWA Maps
Water.ca national maps give you an overview of water issues across Canada, including: Boil Water (yellow dots) Do Not Consume (red dots), Water Shortage (purple dots) and cyanobacteria contamination or Blue-Green Algae (cyan dots) advisories.
Our provincial map give you more detailed information on the location and reason for the advisory. Water.ca checks all official national, provincial and municipal water advisory sources twice a day. The date posted on each provincial map indicates the latest advisory change for that province.

Boil Water Alerts

First to your email when you need to know!
Add your name to our Boil Water Alerts Email List and we will advise you of any known water issue in your area. Whether your water should be boiled as a precautionary measure following a watermain break or maintenance work, or if the quality of your water is affected by turbidity or bacterial contamination, we will let you know as soon as we do.

Click here to register, indicating your full address including your Postal/Zip Code as well as the email address where you want us to send the water alerts. That's it. You will start receiving alerts if there are any reported in your area.
