The dawning of a new age
Resolute, a small inuit hamlet of 229 people on Cornwallis Island in Nunavut, is situated at the northern end of Resolute Bay, on the shores of the Northwest Passage. One of Canada's northernmost communities, it sits in a place with no dawn, in the land of the midnight sun and is one of the coldest inhabited places in the world.
