This is day-16 of the boil water order in Gloucester. The coliform count is finally down, but what caused the problem yet to be resolved. Over the course of the last two weeks, one water plant was closed and scrubbed, the system was pumped with chlorine, water bans were called then rescinded; state and federal officials were called in. Today there is only 1 count of colifrom down from a high of 18. Water testing resumes on Tuesday.
